FAFSA

Federal Student Aid, an office of the U.S. Department of Education, ensures that all eligible individuals can benefit from federally funded or federally guaranteed financial assistance for education beyond high school.

  • Educating students and families on the process of obtaining aid;

  • Processing millions of student financial aid applications each year;

  • Disbursing billions of dollars in aid funds to students through schools;

  • Enforcing financial aid rules and regulations;

  • Servicing millions of student loan accounts, and securing repayment from borrowers who have defaulted on their loans; and

  • Operating information technology systems and tools that manage billions in student aid dollars.

Built by the U.S. Dept. of Ed. in collaboration with students. This site is the go-to source for information and resources about planning, preparing and paying for postsecondary education (such as 2- or 4-year colleges and universities, as well as vocational or career schools).

An award-winning site that is a comprehensive source of student financial aid information, advice and tools -- on or off the web. Information on scholarships, loans, military aid, savings plans and Financial Aid FAQs.

College Board

Composed of more than 5,700 schools, colleges, universities and other educational organizations. Each year, the College Board serves seven million students and their parents, 23,000 high schools, and 3,800 colleges through major programs and services in college readiness, college admission, guidance, assessment, financial aid, enrollment, and teaching and learning. Among its best-known programs are the SAT®, the PSAT/NMSQT® and the Advanced Placement Program® (AP®).
